What to wear and bring

  • We recommend wearing form fitting leggings and tops that cover midriff and armpits. This is to protect your body from the apparatus as much as possible.

  • Socks aren't highly encouraged as they can cause you to lose your footing, however they do make socks with grippy bottoms.

  • Grip sprays and chalk are welcomed here.  If you need any recommendations for these, just let us know.  We do have community chalk available to those that need it.

  • Water bottles are always encouraged, if you forget yours we do have water available.

  • If you are attending a weighted class, ankle weights are used, we do have a spare pair if you need to borrow ours.

  • There is no need to bring mats or apparatuses to any of the aerial classes, if you are attending a floor class we do recommend bringing one.

  • If you are coming from work, we do have a changing room, complete with bathroom that you can use.

  • We do ask that all shoes are removed and place on the shoe holder right next to the entrance of the studio.  This is to keep the floors and mats as clean and safe for everyone as possible.

What to expect during a class

AERIAL DANCE AND CONDITIONING CLASSES: We typically do a group warm-up both on the floor and on the apparatus.  Then we move into either working out or learning the dance sequence.

*at the end of our dance classes we allow everyone time to perform and record it.

STRETCHING CLASSES: We begin with a gentle warm-up and it flows into the stretching part of the class.

CLASSES ARE TAUGHT IN AN OPEN FORMAT: This means if you have a question, please feel free to ask, we'd hate for you to be confused or frustrated for the remainder of a class
